We’ve recently started a fresh nextcloud server and added the SAML auth app and configured it so that it works. Everything is fine so far but we also wanted to sync Groups from Azure Active Directory, I couldn’t find any information about how to make this work so we instead decided to add an LDAP sync. Again, we’ve added the app and everything runs smoothly, the issue I’ve run into however is that the SAML users and LDAP users aren’t mapped with eachother.
Question, is there a way of mapping the SAML users to the LDAP users so if I’ve a user who log into with either authentication, Nextcloud understands that they are the same person?
