Getting help
In order to help you as efficiently (and quickly!) as possible, please fill in as much of the below requested information as you can.
Before clicking submit: Please check if your query is already addressed via the following resources:
- Official documentation (searchable and regularly updated)
- How to topics and FAQs
- Forum search
(Utilizing these existing resources is typically faster. It also helps reduce the load on our generous volunteers while elevating the signal to noise ratio of the forums otherwise arising from the same queries being posted repeatedly).
The Basics
- Nextcloud Server version (e.g., 29.x.x):
- 31.0.6 (official docker container image)
Summary of the issue you are facing:
I’m not sure if I just don’t know how, but it seems to be impossible, to see the BCC-contacts on a sent email if it is in the sent folder.
Usually BCC should only have effect on the recipient side. As a sender I would of course like to know to whom I’ve sent an email. Specifically important for instance in business context, where you cannot reveal everyone on a distribution list, but must be able to prove that you have sent an email to a certain contact.
Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):
- write an email to a couple of contacts on BCC
- open the sent email and try to see who was on BCC
