Logic how groupfolders is managed

Hi! In the closest time I have to rearrange group folders: some of them to rename, others to merge, and delete some of them.

So, there’s a question how to do it safely in order not to loose files and folders?

In particular, what will happen with files and subfolders, when I rename a group folder or delete it? What about sharing permissions, if I have shared some subfolders with other groups?

I recommend you test all the steps you plan using a separate group folders without production data.
