Linux Client behavior is aweful

Why the Linux Client never show in the task bar
for several years now I use Nextcloud and this annoyed me
either Gnome, KDE, XFCE, you name it
.config/autostart/com.nextcloud.desktopclient.nextcloud.desktop
I tried

#Exec="/usr/bin/nextcloud" --background
Exec="/usr/bin/nextcloud"  --foreground

still going in the background

How could I fix that?
Why is it doing that
what is the rational explanation of hiding the icon , it don’t run as a service and it’s per user.

For me, it worked on Linux. You need to specify more in detail what distribution you use, how you installed the client (distribution package, 3rd-party, appImage, …
