Links to this forum show up as Corrupted Content in Firefox unless opened in New Tab

I’ve noticed Firefox will display a Corrupted Content page for links to this forum followed in Firefox. Opening them in a new tab avoids this issue. I’ve noticed this in every release of Firefox Quantum. I’ve encountered no issues with Vivaldi, Chrome or Safari.

fyi, this issue appears isolated to the help.nextcloud.com forum and no other Discourse forums I’ve checked. Here is the exact error as copy paste.

Corrupted Content Error
The site at Demo instances of 9, 10, 11 and 12 now live has experienced a network protocol violation that cannot be repaired.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected.

Hi,

I’ve noticed this too, but not just for this forum but any forum that uses Discourse. I suspect either a bug in Discourse or Firefox. CTRL+F5 resolve the problem temporarily, but it’s still very annoying.

Yeah, it is especially a bummer if you bookmark a specific thread in Discourse. Opening that bookmark will often lead to a ā€œcorrupt contentā€ page until you refresh.

I see this problem too, thanks for the CTRL+F5 tip, so far I’d been opening chrome just to look at forum links. The links in google search results give the corrupted content error in firefox.
