when I look at the main settings page (settings/admin/overview) I can see that an update is available (“Eine neue Version ist verfügbar: Nextcloud 16.0.7”).
In the past there was a link beside this hint, with which I was able to open the web-based updater. But the link is not there.
So myy questions are:
Why is the link to the web-based updater not showing?
Is there another way to open the updater?
Nextcloud version : 15.0.14
Operating system and version : Raspbian 9
Apache or nginx version : Apache 2.4.25
PHP version: 7.0.33
After trying to update via command line I saw that my pi wanted to open a webpage from nextcloud where I was told, that my php version was outdated.
So I did a distribution update (https://pimylifeup.com/upgrade-raspbian-stretch-to-raspbian-buster/) and an update of php (https://wiki.profoxi.de/php-auf-dem-rasberrypi-aktualisieren/).
Furthermore I did the database update (https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/15/admin_manual/configuration_database/mysql_4byte_support.html) and -voilá- the web based updater appeared.
Did all nextcloud updates and now I am up-to-date:
Nextcloud version : 17.0.3
Operating system and version : Raspbian 10
Apache or nginx version : Apache 2.4.38
PHP version: 7.3.11
Thank me very much for my support.
