Limit to storage?

Hello!

I am very much a newbie but I just had a question about Nextcloud which I can’t seem to find the answer to anywhere. Is there a limit to how much storage you get when downloading Nextcloud for Windows 7,8 or 10 (free version)?

If so, is it possible to upgrade this?

Thanks for your help.

hello @izz,

on windows you can use the sync client.
The server needs to run on linux (vm, hardware) and there are no (!) limits regarding storage size.

Does this answer your questions?

Hello, sorry for the late reply and thanks for your answer!

Hm okay, I don’t know because I don’t have Linux. I have windows, and Nextcloud is telling me “194 gb out of 200 gb is being used” so I was just wondering if this is the limit for me or if it possible to upgrade?

I have a lot more I want to store to the cloud but 200 GB won’t be enough for this.

The 200GB is your quota given by the admin, on the Users Page. If you are the admin, just set it to unlimited
