Letting users handle unwanted form shares?

I have no support/technical question and have seen the support category. (Be aware that direct support questions will be deleted.)

Which general topic do you have

As a user of Nextcloud in an on-premise installation through the webapp, I have two items in my list of forms that are not relevant to me, under the header “Shared with me”. I assume that it is another member in the federated space that has shared the form with everyone, and not with me explicitly.

There is a lack of information (who has shared them?) and actions (I cannot seem to decline/block/remove the form invitations) and as such, it’s also a vector for spam.

I’m unsure of the version of the nextcloud platform, as I’ve not set it up myself. If there is an easy way for users to identify the version, let me know and I can update the thread. If this has already been addressed in later versions, feel free to close this thread. If not, consider it a feature request.

Thanks,
Wilhelm

Hi @wilhelmw and welcome to the forums!

This is by design. A Nextcloud admin can choose to allow users to share forms with everyone and to show them to everyone in the navigation bar. So there’s currently only the solution to talk to your admin to disallow this type of sharing. There’s currently no way of hiding those forms per user.

We already have a feature request for this, but there are currently no plans on when this will get implemented:
