Have just jumped ship from owncloud so go easy on me 
I have changed the Internal Username Attribute to sAMAccountName so that emails to new users go out displaying their actual user name, prior to doing this I had added a group which was just showing / using the uuid. I removed the group and re-added it in the hope that the users would come back using sAMAccountName but they are still displayed using their uuid.
What is the best way to remedy this, in OC I would delete the user then re-add them and the changes would be reflected but it does not seem to be the case in NC as I cannot delete LDAP/AD users from the user management page.
Any help would be much appreciated
