LDAP: Primary Group change and update in NextCloud

We are running NextCloud 10.0.1 and we changed the gidNumber for a user and now NextCloud regards the user as “no group”. How can I tell NextCloud the user changed groups? BTW selecting the correct group as admin under users does not work, after selecting the group and a reload in the browser, it again says “no group”.

Very stupid problem, my mistake, we changed the primary group but did not add the user as a memberUid to the group. On the commandline (Linux) this doesn’t show as the user is part of the group, but for NextCloud the user is still part of no group…
