Keeweb app is downloading kdbx file instead of opening in browser?

Keeweb 0.3.0, NC 11.0.0 on Ubuntu 16.04, Apache 2.4

 
I have added

application/x-kdbx kdbx

to

/etc/mime.types

 
But after a

service apache2 restart

Firefox still wants to download the kdbx file instead of opening it in the browser.

 
What’s going wrong there?

You have to tell Firefox what to do with such files (if you want to use a special program for it).

I disagree with @tflidd

Because i don’t want to download the kdbx file and open it with my favorite application, rather i want to open it online with the browser.

But anyhow i uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it seems to work well now, without /etc/mime.types and without telling Firefox what to do with kdbx files.

No, @tflidd, it’s a knowing bug, unfortunately not fixed yet.
