Which general topic do you have
I use Joplin for quite a long time and I use my own hosted nextcloud instance to sync my notes between multiple devices. I missed the possibility to view, create or even modify joplin notes online.
So I created Joplix to fill this gap. With Joplix you can view, create, edit, delete notes within nextcloud and sync it to you joplin clients.
The app is at a early stage and if you want you can help testing to see, if the app has potential for the future.
I created a one step easy install script available at my codeberg instance:
If you would like to this is,
- make a backup of you nextcloud instance. After that
- duplicate your joplin syn folder in nextcloud. After that
- ssh into you nextcloud server and use the one step installation for the first installation. Finally login into your nextcould and open the newly installed Joplix app.
- a welcome screen will ask you for your joplix sync folder and after that
- try it
- on your sync test-client e.g on a android or whatever system, change the nextcloud folder to the joplix folder
- every changes made in Nextcloud Joplix will be synced to your clients in both ways
Joplix has a build in updater as the app is not available at the nextcloud app store right now.
If you find any issues, please use the issue tracker at codeberg. I will bundle all issues within the next weeks and will release a new beta version afterwards.
As a Nextcloud admin user, you will see a notification directly in Joplix and can use the integrated updater to update your Joplix version.
