Is there an Howto for End to end encryption?

Hello,

I just installed 15.0.2 to try the end to end encryption which was announced to work in version 15.
Is there any documentation how to install/enable this feature ?
Are both apps “Default Encryption Module” and “End to end encryption” needed ?
The description of “End to end encryption” still says the status is “alpha” ?
