Is it possible to combine multiple local Nextcloud instances, so they are treated as the same machine? Is this what Global Scale accomplishes?

Examples:

Booksmarks app and Files installed on Machine A.
Contacts and Calendars app installed on Machine B
Machine A and B treated as the the same local Nextcloud instance to a user or admin logging in.

When logging in, a user sees of all of this together as if it were all installed on the exact same computer.
