My situation:
Nextcloud 32.0.1 but error ocurred also with previous version
PHP version 8.3.8
Distributed server; no access to system setup
SSL provided by Let’s Encrypt
Nextcloud Calendar App version 6.0.2
Sync access through app tokens, as TOTP is active
Log files do NOT seem to contain any reference to this problem.
IPad Pro
IpadOS-version 26.0.1 but error ocurred also with previous version 18
Problem: Ipad native calendar content does not sync with my Nextcloud instance
Dears,
I do not know anymore where to look for a solution. When I add a new Nexcloud Caldav calendar account to Ipad, it does find the (5) calendars I created. However, it does not bring the calendar’s entry’s. It mentions that the certificate is not trusted… (?).
I have tried to connect to
https://www.mynextcloud.domainname (as per instructions on Synchronizing with iOS — Nextcloud latest User Manual latest documentation ). → Result, as above
https://www.mynextcloud.domainname/remote.php/dav Indeed, this does not work.
https://www.mynextcloud.domainname/remote.php/dav/principals/users/Eric/ (as per instructions within the Nextcloud Calendar App) → Result, as above
When I use another IPad calendar app, ‘OneCalendar’, it gives me no problems and transfers all calendars and their respective content from my Nextcloud, and syncs correctly. When adding a calendar account in this app, one of the choices is Nextcloud (not just ‘Caldav’). I conclude that the certificate is not the problem then…
The curious thing is that the IPad Calendar App does find the calendars, but not what’s in them…
Any suggestions for a solution are imensely appreciated!
Eric
