I have deployed NextCloud on my own machine. I uploaded photos and videos using the NextCloud client on my iPhone 11. However, when I downloaded the NextCloud client on an iPhone 17 and set the media folder in the client’s media settings, I can only see the photos and videos uploaded from the iPhone 17. I cannot see the older ones. I have confirmed that both the new and old uploads are in the same directory. The same issue happens on my family member’s iPhone 16, where only the newly uploaded photos and videos from the iPhone 17 are visible. On the Android client, there is no such issue. Once the media folder is set in the client’s media settings, all the photos and videos are visible. All iPhones are using the latest version of the client.
