iOS-App missing function to copy and sending a shared link

Hello everyone

Since the last update of the Nextcloud iOS-App I’am missing
the function to send a link of a shared folder.

In the iOS-App I can create a link for sharing a folder with the β€œ+” icon
but then when I click on the β€œβ€¦β€ icon there is no option to send the
link that was just created.

On the Web-Interface on the contrary it works prefeclty,
you can copy the link for sharing without problem.

Nextcloud App 6.2.1.0
iOS 16.7.10
Nextcloud Server 30.0.4

Does anyone else have this problem?
Please help.

Toni

Yes, one of my bandmates has the same issue in my nextcloud. I have an iOS device as well with no problem. But the link is just invisible in his case. He can share the link. After that, he has to tip on the area, where the copy button should appear (within the red rectangle). Strange, but true.

Using iOS 18.2 in dark mode and icon is there.

See copy icon for internal link is not visible as well.

Thank you very much for your support,
it helped me to isolate the problem further.

I testet the client-app on an iPhone 13 with iOS 18.1.1 and you can share the link without any problem, the copy icon is present.
It must therefore be assumed that the issue with the β€œcopy” icon not appearing is caused by the old iOS version.
My iPhone 8 ist on iOS 16.7.10, since the device is discontinued, no update will follow. Time to change the phone…

Thank you all for the help

While true, at least currently iOS 16 is still supported by the files app. I guess that’s just a regression of using an icon that is not available < 18 (or even < 17). I’ll ask someone.

It will be fixed in the next version.

I already tested it before. This seems possibly du to different iOS versions. In case of my bandmate it made no difference whether light or dark mode has been used.
