InstantUpload slow - db updates but no media for a while

I’m using the InstantUpload feature to copy my Camera folder to NC. there seems to be a reasonable delay in the media appearing through.

when a photo is taken on phone, the desktop app will shortly start to sync (within a few minutes - completely reasonable) but error with media cannot be found. This implies the DB is being updated and metadata is known. NC webUI only shows a placeholder file so this is an android app > NC server side issue.

however it takes somewhere around 30 minutes for the media file to actually get a successful sync via the InstantUpload feature.

I’ve no issues with NC ouside of InstantUpload. Uploads via WebUI/desktop are instantly reflected between devices so doesnt appear to be something broken.

is this normal behaviour?

What happens if you manually add/upload a similar size file via the Android client?

Does the Uploads section in the Android app show a in limbo photo when this is going on?
