Installing third-party SSL preconfigured install with Ubuntu

What differences are there when I install the next cloud option during Ubuntu installation vs. installing next cloud manually once Ubuntu is installed? I need to install third-party SSL certs and the process is asking for a2enmod. It is not present. I noticed that instead of services as their usual name, (apache2, MariaDB, and php). They all had snap.nextcloud,.service. It would seem that the the version that came with the preinstall configuration for Ubuntu is missing some of the features included with apache2.

So basically, my question is should I reinstall Ubuntu without selecting the nextcloud preconfigured and do it manually once Ubuntu is installed. Or should the preinstall config work fine?

you should look at readme of nextcloud snap.

there is a command nextcloud.enable-https -h to find out more about https and certificates.
