Installing Desktop - Mac

I have the latest version of Mac and downloaded the newest version of nextcloud. I have purchased a cloud from a local host. When logging in and inserting the address, it fails to connect to the address. Though my colleagues also using mac don’t have a problem connecting. Can someone help? Our hosts cannot help and nextcloud suggested I post on the forum.

If I had to guess, the address ends with .st and I think nextcloud has trouble recognizing it…but then again, it works with my other colleagues…

thanks

welcome to the nextcloud-communityforum @dnadariwt

as much I can get wise from what you just posted that might be a local configuration-problem.

But maybe we should start at the beginning…
What do you want to acchieve?

Which one? Server? Mac Desktop client?

What? which cloud? Local host = local hoster? Aka a company selling ther services (includig setting up and running NC) to clients?

where? how? which address?

well… look for a different hoster. maybe they might cost a bit more but they should offer you support. Just giving you access to selfinstall NC is a joke.

that should not be the case…
