I recently purchased an aruba drive service that requires the nextcloud software to work.
I don’t understand why the MacOS software connects the cloud drive in link mode (as if it were a nas, therefore simply in virtual) while for the windows app this setting is non-existent. I tried to configure with the windows 10 app but every time I try to connect the drive it starts a synchronization that lasts HOURS (over 600gb of saved data). Why does the windows app synchronize files that should be accessible immediately by nature (as in the mobile app /macos)? Can it be solved? otherwise I have to make a return
