Which general topic do you have
We have a user base of about 200 working at a NGO and we just did a user satisfaction survey. Users generally reported not being too happy with Nextcloud which we run with OnlyOffice. The usability and performance are main complaints. We have some ideas on improving on this like training and improving manuals.
I am wondering, are there any admins here who found their users where not happy with NC. If so where you able to improve on this and how did you do it?
For the usability ideas, improving manuals is one idea, if you have better ideas, don’t hesitate to check the repositories, if there are feature requests for such improvements (and suggest them if not yet done).
I am mainly interested what people do to improve the user experience without actual improvements in NC itself or its documentation. Things like internal communication, folder organisation, apps the remove or enable etc.
It seems our users are more unhappy then necessary, NC is not perfect but also not as terrible some of our users seem to feel it is.
IMHO some basic hygiene factors are missing.
A seamless, background updater for example would be one such thing that every other
“cloud drive app” has and I consider an absolute must have feature.
