Import Thunderbird mail history?

Hey there :]

Is it possible to import the Mail history from Thunderbird? I have multiple years worth of E-Mails, which I would like to manage in Nextcloud instead. Is there a way to import those mails, including attachements into Nextcloud?

I am aware of Contact sync, but found no option to import E-Mails.

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 25.0.6
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): NixOS 22.11

Hello FrostKiwi,
if you use the mail app from nextcloud with your imap mail server (in my case selfhosted) you can also see your mails in same order, history and views like thunderbird.
Greetings
Andreas

Nextcloud Mail is just an IMAP client. It’s not meant to permanently store or archive your emails on your Nextcloud server. So if those emails are only stored locally in Thunderbird on your computer, you would have to re-upload them to your mail server in order for them to appear in Nextcloud Mail. If they are still present on the mail server, they will also appear in Nextcloud Mail, as @tuxfriend already mentioned.
