I want to import a calendar via url, but I cannot set a username and a password that enables Nextcloud to fetch the file. Is there any way to do this? It works with thunderbird-lightning but there is a password-prompt when the connection is established.

easiest way is to go to system preferences > Internet Account > Add other account
Don’t try to put the URL via iCal (there’ll be plenty of tears!)
Thank you for answering my question! But I want to import a remote calender-file protected by a password in the nextcloud-calendar app (the website). Perhaps I can do that with a cronjob to the right place. But there should be a dialogue in the app for all those normal users that are lacking the knowledge to do that…
