I'm having problems with forms

The form app, after editing htaccess to remove index.php from the url, is no longer working.

my .htaccess:

# Clients like xDavv5 on Android, or Cyberduck, use chunked requests.
# When FastCGI or FPM is used with apache, requests arrive to Nextcloud without any content.
# This leads to the creation of empty files.
# The following directive will force the problematic requests to be buffered before being forwarded to Nextcloud.
# This way, the "Transfer-Encoding" header is removed, the "Content-Length" header is set, and the request content is proxied to Nextcloud.

Please check you browser console for any errors that might be related to you problem and post them here… Please also provide more information about your installation (like version numbers, installation type and so on).

Otherwise it’s really hard to help you

Hi, sorry I’m not very good at this. I installed the Nextcloud Hub 8 (29.0.2) version via cpanel. I don’t know how to find the console.

It’s inside the developer tools of your browser.

I think I solved it, I added this command to my htaccess and so far I’m not having any problems.

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !\.(css|js|svg|gif|png|html|ttf|woff|ico|jpg|jpeg|map|xml|mjs|)$

Where did you get it from?

This is the rewrite block normaly:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
  Options -MultiViews
  RewriteRule ^core/js/oc.js$ index.php [PT,E=PATH_INFO:$1]
  RewriteRule ^core/preview.png$ index.php [PT,E=PATH_INFO:$1]
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !\.(css|js|mjs|svg|gif|png|html|ttf|woff2?|ico|jpg|jpeg|map|webm|mp4|mp3|ogg|wav|flac|wasm|tflite)$
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/core/ajax/update\.php
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/core/img/(favicon\.ico|manifest\.json)$
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/(cron|public|remote|status)\.php
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/ocs/v(1|2)\.php
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/robots\.txt
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/(ocs-provider|updater)/
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/\.well-known/(acme-challenge|pki-validation)/.*
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/richdocumentscode(_arm64)?/proxy.php$
  RewriteRule . index.php [PT,E=PATH_INFO:$1]
  RewriteBase /
  <IfModule mod_env.c>
    SetEnv front_controller_active true
    <IfModule mod_dir.c>
      DirectorySlash off
    </IfModule>
  </IfModule>
</IfModule>

and you don’t have to edit anything. You only have to set the value

'htaccess.RewriteBase' => '/',

in your config/config.php and run

occ maintenance:update:htaccess

and then everything should be created automaticaly as explained → here ← in the manual.

Hope this helps,

Much and good luck,
ernolf

Hi, I removed the map from RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !\.(css|js|mjs|svg|gif|png|html|ttf|woff2|ico|jpg|jpeg|map|webm|mp4|mp3|ogg|wav |flac|wasm|tflite)$ accidentally, that’s why the forms weren’t working, I included it and it started working again.
