I see NC Android app had issue where Google removed essential permission: Unhappy with the recently lost file upload feature in the Nextcloud app for Android? So are we. Let us explain

Although it seems to be back as I understand from May 15 update I wonder if it’s still worth touching that topic on Digital Fairness Act Public Consultation?

In my opinion Google should not be allowed to eliminate competition by denying them permission that they need. But if I understand correctly it’s no longer issue, so not worth mentioning?

We have been involved or raised such cases/acts in the past and are also currently part of such cases. I personally don’t know if we are in this one, but will check with some colleagues who usually take care of them.
