How to use "Tasks" Plugin with Android and DavX5

I’ve seen at the webpage of Tasks (Nextcloud · GitHub) that there seems to be a way to synchronize the Tasks with my Android-Smartphone.

If I do setup Davx5 at my smartphone, I see in Tab: CalDAV my Claendar, and even my a Ressource marked as “Task”.
All those are “activated”.

At my Android-Phone I do use “Bussiness-Calendar” as Calendar App.
But I don’t see any Tasks from Nextcloud there, nor a way to use / setup the Task-Resource from Nextcloud there.

Any suggestion how to archive this?

BTW: Is there any stand-alone android-app for Tasks that I could/should use?

I don’t know that app but can confirm that it works the tasks app.

You find that information on https://manual.davx5.com → “3. Tasks / Notes / Journals”

Do you mean this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.tasks

I have download and install it, but anyway didn’t see any Tasks in there.

No, I referenced to the DAVx5 manual in which the apps are listed, e.g. OpenTasks.

Ok, I got it.
Here for anyone else who struggle with it:

Davx5

  1. Make sure in "DavX5"-Settings > Integration > Task App that “checkbox” for “I don’t need Task support” is deactivated and that above the right app for your tasks are selected via Radio-Button.
  2. Make sure in "DavX5"-Settings > Security > App Permissions you enabled the switch for your above choosed Task-App (or the “all below” switch)

After doing this, I was able to connect the tasker-app and see all my tasks in there.
