How to un-mirror webcam image in Talk?

Hi folks,

Iā€™m running a NC 23 and use Talk for video calls with colleagues and family. For screen sharing in such calls Iā€™d like to use OBS Virtual Camera so that I can have my screen plus a small webcam image of myself.

Unfortunately Talk is mirroring the webcam image and this applies also to the OBS Virtual Camera meaning the whole OBS screen share is mirrored.

Is there a way to tell Talk not to mirror the camera image?

Nevermindā€¦

After some further reading in the OBS forum I learned that only my local preview is mirrored by the video conference apps like Talk but also Zoom or MS Teams.

When I tested it in a Nextcloud Talk video call everything was fine for the other participants.
