Hey folks. I’m brand new to NextCloud, just trying to use it as a way to maintain a personal calendar I can share to my loved ones without having to use Google/Apple. Currently I have one NC calendar set up, and I’m trying to figure out how my family can subscribe to my calendar through Google Calendar.
If a Google Calendar user subscribes to my calendar via the “Subscription link” provided in Nextcloud’s calendar app, they correctly see events that were in the calendar before I created the sharing link, but new events I add to the calendar after the link’s creation never appear for them. I must be doing something wrong; “subscribing” to a calendar should also mean that updates to the calendar are seen by subscribers, right?
I have my Android phone set up to sync my NC calendar via DAVX5, and I can see new events added to my NC calendar in my Fossify Calendar app, so that works, which I assume means the calendar is properly updating. What’s missing for the calendar to push updates to, or be synced with, a Google Calendar subscriber?
