How to recover local files after sync from server outdated

Two months ago, we had a server crah, that was recovered, but sync was not reactivated

Yesterday, I activate the sync client between my local computer and server, and then all my news files were deleted, and all files were put in the status they were two month ago

How can I recover my files ?

I think the only way to get your files back is to use grep it from your regular backup.
