For unknown reasons, all my Nextcloud contacts are lost. Is there a possibility to recover them?
Contacts are stored in the database. Do you have a recent backup of the database? If not maybe this is of any help… Recover lost contacts Notes

I want to add to this as someone who lost some contact data recently. Unfortunately, my last potential backup of the database had been purged by the time I realized that some of my contacts were missing. Fortunately I had a machine with Thunderbird (CardBook) that had been syncing my contacts and still had an old copy of them. I was able to boot the machine offline, export the database, put it online and sync with Nextcloud, then re-import the missing contacts back into my local client and sync back to Nextcloud. If anyone here happens to have multiple clients setup, make sure you consider them before giving up.
