Hello I want to modify the Social Login app in order to work with our company OAuth service. I want to create a new app for this so there will be no collisions with official app updates etc. . I have downloaded the app archive, and then copy the extracted directory with a different name to Nextcloud/apps. In addition I change the id and name in the Nextcloud/apps/appname/appinfo/info.xml file. The App can be enabled without any error, but the Social Login page at the admin settings will not be shown.
Is there any best practice to do something like this, or is this even forbidden?
