How to migrate Emailaccounts from M365?

Which general topic do you have

Hi, we are a small company (20+ employees) aiming to leave M365. Main issue turns out to be the migration of Email-accounts.
Does anyone have guidance on how to move M365-mail-accounts to Nextcloud?
-recommendation for mail-server?
-recommendation for migration-tool?

  • for exporting emails : imapsync worked well for me ( small company)
  • eMail server choice : I’m a very small company and went with Stalwart that does everything (IMAP,POP,SMTP etc) but some will probably tell you to go with Dovecot (eMail hosting Pop/imap) + Exim or PostFix (MTA, the SMTP thing sending and receiving emails)

I recommend to have a look to MailCow. Migrating is rather easy via IMAP-sync.
