Dear NC-Crowd,
I am using NC privately for Fotos an Documents and I am confident with it (abonnement by hosting.de). Thanks for all the work!
However there is a key feature, that prevents me from using it as my personal cloud based bureau: The lack of recurring tasks.
Because aof that, I also dont use the calendar either and keep with my old Family Managing APP (famanice). Privately I am basically testing out NC, whether I could use it for my business - until now it’s not suitable for me, because of mentioned Problem. Also, my wife owns a little company (15 empl.) and would need such feature desperately. So she keeps with her manual, paperbased system and drives to office, when she has office work to do, instead of using nextcloud from home office
I found this promising request, but it seams to have fallen asleep again:

Recurring tasks work if you organise it with third party software on your smartphone, but not when logged into nextcloud using the native tasks app, then you destroy the recurrance by clicking “done”. So that doesn’t help, I want to use various devices for my work.
As long as it not implemented (seems to be open since 2017…) is there any alternative way HOW you organise your recurring tasks with nextcloud besides putting them in the calendar - which is definitly not as good as a todo in Tasks?
Please don’t misunderstand it as a rant, I’ just needing advice on how to overcome this. My business is not programming - but healthcare. Appreciate any help.
