how to copy detected faces of shared images (external storage) to different user

Hi,

I’m running nextcloud 30.0.4 with recognize 8.2.0 and external storage support 1.22.0 .

different user (my family) have their own private space, but the image-folder is mounted via external storage to every user.

In my account, i have many detected (and associated) faces from images from this external storage (because i invested hours associating them).

Is there any way to “copy” this information to the other users (remember, the image-files on disk are the same), maybe with clever sql? Or can i “export” face-detection-data from my account and import them in the other accounts?

Hi Friedhelm,

sadly this is not easily possible. For now, each user in recognize has their own separate faces collection. We are planning to revamp the recognize app, though. (No timeline on this yet.)
