How to change autocomplete settings in the Collabora Office plug-in

Summary of the issue you are facing:

I use the Collabora Office plugin that is in the default in the Docker image. When I type some text patterns, the text is automatically altered (e.g.(C) becomes the copyright symbol). I want to turn this off but there seems not to be any setting to do so. The Collabora documentation suggests a setting under the β€˜Tools’ menu - but this menu item does not exist in my installation.
I would be happy with a command-line option (I administer this local installation) to edit autocorrect patterns for all users - I presume there must be a look-up table for these buried somewhere (?).

I’d love some advice from the community.

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

  1. Type β€˜(C)’
  2. Type β€˜,’
  3. Undo the autotext that has inserted an unwanted copyright symbol.
