I like the news app and I do add sites I think I can trust. But how secure is the news app and RSS feeds? How likely is my Nextcloud server to get attacked and hacked into if a RSS feed I subscribe to goes rouge? Is there anyway I could shield my server against possible nefarious RSS feeds?

Important security feature is adding credentials, a user name and password, to your private RSS feeds to prevent absolutely anyone with the URL from reading them. Example: Activity app allows useful RSS feeds in addition to emails, but does not yet support authentication for the RSS feed once enabled.
