How do I add a second connection to the Windows desktop client 34.0.1?

Call me crazy, but how do I add a second connection to the Windows desktop client 34.0.1? If I right click and select “Open Desktop Client”, the window appears. I see a list of activities and the current account in the top right of the window. But that’s it - nothing is clickable, there are no buttons, no controls to do anything. Does the desktop client support multiple connections? Thanks

I don’t know what happened, so I removed the connection and started from scratch. Now it works ok. If I left click on the app icon in the system tray I get the menu that lets me add connections and interact with them. That didn’t work before but I don’t know why.
