Help with how to have a PDF signed to confirm it was read

Hello Support,

We use Nextcloud version: 27.1.7

I have a PDF document we would like to send a link to our employees to read online. Is there a way to have each employee sign something back to us to confirm that the document was read by the employee?

I have LibreOffice installed on my Nextcloud and I use this to create PDF automatically using Flow App.

Any advice you can give me on how I can do this in our small office would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I’m personally not using that function, but there are some apps available which are adding a signing function to Nextcloud:

I think i would use Nextcloud Forms for it.

Or Nextcloud Polls:

You can use bold in Nextcloud Forms and Nextcloud Polls with ** ** e.g. **filename:**
You can use links in Nextcloud Forms and Nextcloud Polls e.g.
[Nextcloud Manual.pdf](https://cloud.server.tld/index.php/s/abcdefghijklmno)
Then the user can directly open the (e.g. shared) PDF from Nextcloud Forms or Nextcloud Polls.

You can of course query several PDF files in one form/poll. You can also export statistics to CSV. I think only with Nextcloud Pools you can achieve an assignment to users who are actually logged in.

Even though Nextcloud Polls is less flexible than Nextcloud Forms, I would probably use Nextcloud Polls. So the poll can be assigned to a Nextcloud group.
