Help needed. Newbie warning :D

Hello.

I started to use NC from a cloud provider to get rid of google. Provider defined me as admin of my NC instance and I can add remove apps etc. The problem is news app doesn’t update. From gui I changed from AJAX to cron but to no avail. I’m fairly new to NC. When I searched the issue I found out that I need to setup cronjob. But I don’t know how to access console nor even if its available for me. I’ve added occweb app and when manually update a selected feed it works. But automatic updates doesn’t. Can I somehow solve the problem as a user of a public cloud provider?

I think you would need at least SSH access to the server, but I guess this won’t be possible. Why don’t you contact your provider, it shouldn’t be a big problem for them to activate cron.
