Does anyone know how to view HEIC photos in nextcloud 20?
Please note that the thumbnails works fine, I am referring to the native photos app.

They are not supported yet, but the fix has been merged for an upcoming release. It is currently in testing via this pull request.
Currently, there is just this app for converting HEIC to the inferior jpeg format.

This is part of nextcloud20.
You need heic previews enabled.
Someone got the same issue on 20 though, let’s continue there https://github.com/nextcloud/photos/issues/498
