The issue you are facing:
While using Talk for Android I saw once or twice during a private conversation between two registered users that in the typing indicator instead of “User is typing…” there was a message “Guest is typing…” . Why could this be happening? I wasn’t able to replicate it consistently. I don’t see anything relevant in the Nextcloud log.

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Login as a user on a android talk application
  2. Start typing to another registered user
  3. The typing indicator shows “Guest is typing…”
