Group Share Folders Show as "External?"

We are using the Group Folders app to share several group folders. When a user installs the desktop client (Windows or Mac) the Group Folders appear as “external” drives and thus, are not synced automatically unless the user specifically checks them.

Is this the intended behavior? Is there a way for us to stop the prompt for this so they are selected automatically?

We are running Group Folders App 1.3.3 under Nextcloud 14.0.4.

I am also having this issue, same versions. Requires a lot more end user intervention to walk them through this process.

Same here. Is there any news about it? NC 16.0.1, group folder 4.0.1, client 2.5.2.

I also just ran into this issue. Does anyone have a workaround?
