Nextcloud version : 28.0.1
Operating system and version : Debian 12
Apache or nginx version : 2.4.57
PHP version : 8.3-fpm
The issue you are facing:
Group administrators (as in, Nextcloud users that have permissions for managing a specific group of users) can’t see “Disabled users” anymore.
Clicking on “Disabled users” shows an empty list.
Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? : Y, it worked at least in Nextcloud version 25.X
Steps to replicate it:
- Create a user, give it a group membership, disable the user.
- Log in as a group administrator of that same group.
- Click on “Disabled users” in “Users” : list is empty.
The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:
No errors logged
As of my understanding, this shouldn’t be linked to config files, but I can provide additional information as needed.
EDIT : Note that the admin user can see disabled users.
