I want to put out there that I am very happy with the work that the folks did with Contacts v2.0. It really has made strides in usability and responsiveness with lazy loading and overall stability. I also want to say that in the past I only had contacts sync properly with my iPhone from the server to my iPhone, but now it successfully goes both ways! So to the folks working on this app, great job and keep up the good work

Does that really have to do with the contacts app? Isn’t carddav-sync part of nextcloud-server?

Not 100% sure of all the interchangeable parts, but I do know that the contacts app does work with DAV with some JS
EDIT: maybe there was something changed in 12.0.3 also, but I do remember only one direction of sync working in 12.0.2 and a handful of versions prior. 12.0.2 was the latest I had tested with whether/not sync was fully functional
