GitHub repo for NextCloud API to upload files

Hi everyone!!

I am working on NextCloud and I am curious and want to understand how the API send the files from the desktop/android app to the server for storage.
Does it send the complete file/document at once or in chunks or something else?

It would be very helpful if someone could point out the GitHub repo to help me do this.
