Fulltextsearch v0.4 - important notice for beta users!

IF YOU INSTALLED FULLNEXTSEARCH 0.3.x, PLEASE READ THIS:

FullNextSearch is now FullTextSearch. However, it also means that you will need to remove all apps related to the old FullNextSearch. You should also clean the index before doing so:

$ sudo -u www-data ./occ fullnextsearch:reset

Then remove those apps:

  • FullNextSearch
  • FullNextSearch - Elastic Search
  • Files - FullNextSearch

And install the apps related to FullTextSearch:

  • Full text search
  • Full text search - Elastic Search
  • Full text search - Files

Beta 0.4

What’s new:

  • Pagination, so you can navigate throw all the result of your search.
  • Search options.

Hello,

Thanks for your help in the linked Thread. Is it possible to scan only one userfolder?
You post an Screenshot from the new search App. I have activated all 3 Apps, but I have the stock NC Search in NC 12.04

You first need to complete a first index in order to activate the new search in the Files App
