FTP access to NC folder?

Hi guys,

i would like to share one folder in my NC with some programs which would need an ftp access to this folder. Now i would like to know, is there a solution to do this? To get an ftp link with write and read rights?

No, Nextcloud itself uses WebDAV.

But you can mount an ftp share as external storage.
Therefor you need to run an ftp server.

btw. ftp is not secure, but I know many old systems still using it.

You also can use an linux-directory for ftp and then integrate it with “external storrage” and “local”. What is about read and write?
