Force upload on android's auto-upload folder

Nextcloud version 26.0.3.2 running on a RaspberryPi (nextcloudpi) and mysql.

Android client: 3.26.0

I setup auto-upload on my phone for some folders and checked “upload existing files”. Everything worked well. I then found that I had set the Remote Folder for some folders incorrectly. Instead of moving those, I deleted them and tried to configure the auto-upload for these folders again (with a new remote folder path).

Now, however, only newly created files in those folders will be uploaded, the files which already exists, will not get uploaded anymore.

Is there a way to force an upload of the existing files? Can I somehow “clean” the database? Might it help if I re-install the android app?
