I’m facing an issue where a file that a deleted in Windows explorer (results.xlsx) still appears in internet browser and android app. I checked by terminal and the file do not exist anymore.

I already tried:

  1. Reboot
  2. Force sync by Nextcloud Desktop Client;
  3. Created a new file in app and browser, and it syncs ok;
  4. ncp-config → Tools → clear-php-opcache

Any other ideas?

The issue you are facing:

  • Steps to replicate it:
  1. Open Microsoft Excel and fill a spreadsheet
  2. Save the spreadsheet in “C:\Users\tavar\Nextcloud”
  3. Make some changes in excel file and save this changes without change the name of spreasheet saved in step 2
  4. Force sync by windows client software
  5. Close excel and delete the file using Windows Explorer
  6. Check if the file still exist in android app and in https://{your nextcloud}
